Group Therapy

You’re Moving Through Something Nobody Around You Understands

You walk in a few minutes early. A circle of chairs is already waiting. Women you’ve never met glance up as you find your seat.

Something in your life has shifted this year.

A marriage ended.

Or a parent is slipping away.

Or the self you knew for years no longer quite fits.

The people around you mean well. But they change the subject, or hand you advice, or go so still it leaves you lonelier than before you spoke.

So you stop bringing it up.

What You’ve Been Missing

The women who feel most lost in these rooms are rarely the ones lacking insight.

You understand your own patterns better than anyone in your life gives you credit for.

What you’ve been missing is other people who will tell you the truth about how you come across, in real time.

No amount of talking to one therapist behind a closed door gives you that.

Group Therapy Will Ask More of You Than You Expect

A good group asks more of you than individual therapy does. Many women see you at once.

You get feedback, spoken and unspoken, on how you show up. That’s exactly why it works.

A group becomes a powerful engine for accountability and growth, not only a place to be supported.

Over time, the women in it become something close to a second family.

Many of the wounds we carry out of our first families get recognized and healed inside these safer, more structured relationships that stay close and vulnerable.

What We Look at Together

In my women’s groups, we sit together in the solidarity of shared experience.

We look honestly at our histories, at what we’ve known, both good and painful, at the hands of men, and at the mother wounds many of us have lived with for a long time.

We give each other real feedback on new relationships and dating, on growing, on moving forward.

Choose the Group That Fits Your Season of Life

I keep the groups age-sorted.

Women 25 to 39, 40 to 55, and 55 and beyond each speak to the season of life they’re actually in.

These groups run both online and in person for single women.

Group therapy costs less per person than individual work. While it is cost-effective, the group experience itself is powerful and effective in ways that individual therapy can’t touch.

Come Back to the Circle a Year Later

Come back to that circle of chairs after a year. You walk in, and the women look up.

Now you know their names, their histories, the shape of their week.

You take your seat and say the true thing, the one you once stopped bringing up.

Someone reflects back what she sees, and it resonates because she has earned the right to tell you.

This is where you learn, as we all do here, how to build real relationships, how to love people well, and one day, how to say goodbye.

You’re still growing, but you’re no longer doing it by yourself.

Reserve Your Place in a Women’s Group

If you’re a single woman, 25 or older, moving through transition, loss, or change, a women’s group is a real investment in your well-being and growth.

This is where women finally learn to live at the center of their own lives.

Use the contact form to ask your questions or join the waiting list for a new group forming or an opening in a current one.
